    Hi everyone;
    I am Deniz.  I was born in Istanbul. I am an architect and an interior designer. I am married and I have a daughter, 3.5 years old. After my husband found a job in USA,  We decided to move to New Jersey  in 2015.  After 3 years, we moved to California due to same reason. My husband has found a  job in  CA. We live in Irvine now.  I love California too much. Beaches, weather, national parks .....
     In fact I have been here two times before moving .I love travel; I saw  many cities and states in USA. California, Nevada,Florida, Arizona, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

    Your daughter is very cute. I studied in New York in last 2 years. It was pretty close to NJ.

      Thank you , My home was 50 min to New York. I have been in New York several times. I did not love New Jersey, but I love New York.

    Wow, it seems we have some much in common. I used to study in designing fiel and love traveling. Hope we can talk to each other more.

      I think so, You love maths , you love love songs. You love traveling and you are designer too. We have a lot of common point to talk each other.

      Thank you Mr. Herbst , Actually we speak in Turkish at home. She knows only numbers, colors, shapes and simple words in English like sit, eat, hi, bye.. She just enrolled to preschool. I hope that she will begin to speak English well until start kindergarten

The Thanksgiving Traditionalists        By  Perri Klass, M.D.  NYTimes        Nov. 25, 2019    In the article "The Thanksgiving Traditionalists", Perri Klass shares experiences about their Thanksgiving customs. According to Klass, traditionalists , who are about 80s now, pursue their traditional values about Thanksgiving.  One of them is  singing the hymn "We Gather Together" to kick off Thanks giving dinner , which is a Dutch Calvinist hymn of thanks for victory in 1597 over Catholic Spain. Second is big family meeting on Thanksgiving Day. She says that she lived in Cambridge with grand child  and every year their family came up frok New York and New Jersey.   When I was 16.  We had been staying in Turgutreis, Bodrum every summer for 3 months. We had a house in a beautiful big community. I had a  lot of friends. Have you heard about Bodrum? Bodrum is the most famous entertainment city in Turkey. Although I lived in Bodrum, I didn't go anywhere after 12:00 am because I was turning into a pumpkin :).  My parents were not allowed to me.    One day my friends wanted to see the sunrise. If you want to see the sunrise in June, you should get up early at 4:30 am. So we decided to climb up to the peak of the community's hill, so we would have seen sunrise haha. When I turned to home, I could not say anything to mom; because I knew that she would not have allowed me to go. I would have been going to sneak out. When my friends came to pick up me at my home, I was sleeping. Humans have developed their abilities through difficulties since prehistory. Nowadays, in everywhere experts recommend “get out of our comfort zone.” The comfort area has the same meaning as the smooth sea in the proverb.
